“I knew that Ritchie Hill was my dream venue as soon as I stumbled upon it online! And it was only confirmed when I went to visit it in person. Ritchie Hill was the first and only wedding venue I contacted. As soon as I saw it in person I HAD to book! Everything about this venue screams the perfect wedding! The property is so beautiful and unique! The lighting was exceptional for all of my photos, which made my photographers job a breeze (lighting is EVERYTHING). I truly felt as the highest priority when contacting them with any questions or needs. Sydney (venue Director) is also what makes this venue stand out - her willingness to help with any planning needs and her calming demeanor made everything so much easier. She was great to work with and truly the sweetest! I am so thankful I have so many precious memories to look back on about my special day at Ritchie hill!”

“I cannot say enough great things about Ritchie Hill. It was perfect and had everything we wanted and didn’t know we would need. The outdoor ceremony site could not have been more perfect for us and the entire venue is accessible which was so important to us. I absolutely adored the bridal suite and balcony. I had such a zen day getting ready and my whole party and I felt so special. It’s such an intimate space and I’m so glad our planner suggested them. Now we are hoping to host a baby shower there some day!”

“Honestly, everything was a dream! Our day was so perfect, we literally have no complaints! Our guests had nothing but compliments for the venue, as did our families! Sydney and Abby (13 Cedar Events) were absolutely wonderful! It was definitely a breeze and so stress free with both of you there to help. There isn’t anything we would have wanted to change! We loved having our meetings with Sydney and Abby leading up to the big day. It helped ease any stress and answer all of our questions. Sydney was also so quick to respond with any questions I had about ANYTHING! And I loved all of her recommendations for vendors, I am still obsessed with my florals (willow floral boutique) and absolutely adore the mango market (photographers) I want all my events to be at Ritchie Hill, truly the best experience!!! Our guests raved about the venue, food, and photographers!!! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!”

“We were married at Ritchie Hill on 6.10.18. The house and property are beautiful, which is what first sold us on the place. What really blew us away though was the Ritchie Hill team, led by Shannon Cudmore, who made sure everything for our wedding was perfect, down to every detail. The service was way beyond what we expected. The entire team went above and beyond - adding flowers on the hor d'oeuvres plates, for example, a small extra touch that looked very elegant. At one point the bridesmaids and I got so caught up in conversation we had forgotten to get our bouquets ready by removing them from water and drying the stems. It had completely slipped my mind until I noticed a young member of the RH team doing it, saving us the trouble. Those are just a couple examples and there are many. Really what impressed us beyond the quality of service was the character. Each member of the team had such great energy and their energy was infectious. They all had huge smiles and happiness for us! It served to solidify the feeling of being at home in the Ritchie Hill house. We had an amazing day and wouldn't change a minute of it.”

“Ritchie Hill was the ideal classic venue I was looking for! I knew I did not want a hotel ball room for my reception and when my eyes set on Ritchie Hill's stark white, large porch; I simply fell in love. Timeless and romantic, Ritchie Hill offered me a blank canvas for my wedding inspiration. The porch was perfect for the dinner and felt like a large family gathering. Inside, the rooms are blank so you can fill them however you need to. One room was filled with a selfie station, while another was a lounge, and then finally a room exclusive to my wedding cake and photos of passed relatives. Upstairs there are 4 spacious rooms- perfect for the bride's squad to get ready. Let me tell you there was plenty of space for everyone! I included my 9 bridesmaids, my mother, my mother-in-law, the flower girl and her mother, plus myself and we all had plenty of room! The lounge room downstairs is perfect for the groom and his guys to wait for the ceremony to begin. And the cherry on top? The amazingly patient staff at Ritchie Hill made everything flawless. Sydney went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and special. Whenever I had a question, Sydney was quick to respond and was patient in listening to my concerns. When I asked her for a recommendation for hair and makeup artists in the area for visiting guests, Sydney took it upon herself to Google options for me and made everything so easy for me! Along with my wedding coordinator, Sydney made sure all the details were in place to turn my wedding dreams into a reality. There was never a moment when I didn't feel like my wedding was a top priority for the RH team. I'm so grateful for the level of care her and her team had throughout the wedding planning process and on our special day. If I could do it all over again, I would choose Ritchie Hill in a heartbeat. It was the perfect backdrop and will always hold a special place in my heart.”

“We began our search for a wedding venue a couple of weeks after getting engaged. We noticed that we got especially excited when looking at venues that were old estate homes. When my mother-in-law and I came across Ritchie Hill we looked no further. We set up an appointment to visit Ritchie Hill, and booked the same day that we visited!! We fell in love with Ritchie Hill as soon as we drove onto the property, and knew that this was were we wanted to be married. The Ritchie Hill property is very well kept up- they have a landscape team to make sure that they always have a beautiful lawn and flowers no matter the time of the year. When we walked up to Ritchie Hill we were overwhelmed by its beauty. It has big wooden doors, market lights, and a huge wrap around porch. When we walked inside we were just as pleased, it has been preserved with the original hard wood floors and fireplaces. There is an abundance of space to get ready, and the perfect bridal suite upstairs complete with a full bathroom, and a porch perfect for pictures. There is also a great room for the groomsmen to get ready in downstairs. We really loved the idea of having our ceremony and reception at the same venue and were so excited that we could do this at Ritchie Hill. Ritchie Hill has several options for the ceremony spaces. We decided to have our ceremony in the back of the house in an area they made so that guests are surrounded by the beautiful trees. Sydney, the Venue Director at Ritchie Hill was absolutely amazing from the beginning of our search, to our wedding day, and even afterwards. Sydney was more then helpful, and was very quick to answer emails and offer advice/help. She is calm, organized, professional, and very knowledgable. She takes care of issues that arise throughout the day, and handles them so well that you are not even aware of them. Sydney cares about the small details and will make sure that she does everything in her power to make your day absolutely perfect. Even a few weeks later, our guests are still telling us about how much fun they had, how impressed they were with Ritchie Hill, and how beautiful the day was from start to finish. We cannot stop telling everyone how much we loved Ritchie Hill and are so glad we choose Ritchie Hill to get married!”
